DEDICATED TO OUR SCHOOLS & COMMUNITY
Hi, I'm Steven Mosley. I am native of the metro D.C. area. I am a graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in Student Ministries, Master of Arts in Theological Studies, and Master of Religious Education. While studying at Liberty University, I met my wife, Patrina. Currently, I serve as a College Professor and Coordinator for Student Integrity and Conduct.
I am a Christian, a Conservative, and a College Educator
As a Christian, I have dedicated my life to the Lord Jesus Christ. I am an ordained Baptist minister and an active member of the church. As a Christian, the guiding principle for all that I do is to do justly, love mercy, and to walk humbly with God (Micah 6:8).
As a Conservative, I believe in fiscal responsibility and respecting parental rights. I believe in financial responsibility because good stewardship allows the school system to prioritize its spending to meet the needs of the community. I believe in respecting parental rights because parents are the primary educators of their children.
As a College Educator and Administrator, I lead the minority mentorship program and help students achieve their personal, social, and academic goals. I plan to help FCPS Bridge the Achievement Gap through mentorship and restorative Justice. As a college professor, I want teachers to know that if elected, you will have someone on the board who will appreciate and seek to compensate teachers for a job well done.
I'm running to be the next School Board Member for the Mount Vernon District because I care about the academic success of every student and every school. If elected, I pledge to respect parental rights and to be your voice for academic excellence and fiscal responsibility.
